Mount Pleasant Ice-Cats nipped

The Mount Pleasant ice-hockey team was edged by visiting RyeTown/Harrison 3-2 Dec. 17.

Justin Cassinelli scored both of the Ice Cats' goals with teammate Lucian Orza making 46 saves.

Boys youth hoops

Briarcliff/Wex. Bears gave a great effort but lost to Beekman 36-22 Dec. 18 in the boys sixth grade B division of the Tri-County Basketball League.
