For years bracketology has become a mainstay in the months leading up to college basketball's March Madness and now it has reached high school, thanks to MSG Varsity's Kevin Devaney Jr.

Currently, Devaney has, if the season ended today, Briarcliff's and Pleasantville's girls basketball squads as the No. 6 and No. 15 seeds in the Class B tournament.

Boys hoop poll
Pleasantville and Briarcliff's boys basketball squads continue to hold positions in the latest LoHud Varsity Insider Poll.
Pleasantville is No. 5 and Briarcliff No. 7 in the Small Schools Top 10 and Pleasantville is No. 4 and Briarcliff No. 6 in the Class B rankings.

Pleasantville won a thriller, 20-18 on Jan. 27 against Scarsdale, in the boys fifth grade A division of the Tri-County Basketball League.
