Boys basketball
Briarcliff boys basketball standout Brian Daniels was there when his Bears (11-5) needed him the most, as he scored 14 of his game-high 29 points in the fourth quarter in leading Briarcliff to a 65-60 victory against visiting Horace Greeley (8-9) Feb. 3.

Daniels also grabbed 12 boards and blocked four shots.
For Greeley, Connor Domershick was on fire, scoring a team-high 27 points.

Domershick basically could not miss from long-range, connecting on 8 of 9 from behind the 3-point line before missing a last-second heave at the end of regulation.

hosted the boys conference diving championships Feb. 3.
