A Palm Sunday Concert at Pleasantville’s Emanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church

Emanuel Choir, La Spiritata Recorder Quartet in Concert Sunday, April 1 at 3pm

PLEASANTVILLE, NY, March 21, 2012 – The choir from Pleasantville’s Emanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church will join forces with the La Spiritata Recorder Quartet for a concert at Emanuel Church, 197 Manville Road, Pleasantville, NY, at 3:00 pm EST on Sunday, April 1, 2012.  

The concert will feature performances of Lutheran Chorales in settings by the great composers of the Renaissance and Baroque periods. The La Spiritata Recorder Quartet will be directed by Karen Snowberg, while the choir of Emanuel Lutheran Church will be directed by W. Michael Brittenback, the church’s Music Director.

The concert is free and open to all, and the choir of Emanuel Lutheran and the La Spiritata Recorder Quartet invite everyone to attend and enjoy this wonderful music experience. Donations to Emanuel’s fund for buying a new organ will be accepted.
