Hudson Chorale Welcomes New Members in September

Hudson Chorale Accepting New Members in September

Following two highly successful and beautifully performed concerts, Hudson Chorale is welcoming new members for its second performing season.  Singers in all voice parts (S, A, T, B) are invited to join Westchester’s largest mixed-voice choral group in preparing for an exciting December concert that includes an eclectic program for chorus and solo instruments including works  by Brahms, Stephen Chatman, different settings of O Magnum Mysterium, and Conrad Susa’s Carols and Lullabies, featuring the sounds and instruments of the American southwest.  The chorus’s goal is to provide both audience members and singers with the best possible experience in choral singing; its repertoire will range from the great masterpieces to contemporary compositions.  Singers looking for a new or additional choral family are encouraged to consider the Hudson Chorale.

Rehearsals for the upcoming season will begin on Monday, September 12, 2011, from 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm and will take place on Monday evenings in Scarborough, NY.  “Singer-friendly” auditions will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2011, by appointment. To receive additional information and/or to schedule a time for an audition, contact Jeanne Wygant at JeanneWygant@optonline.net  or call (914) 478-0074.  To learn more about the chorus, visit the website at www.HudsonChorale.org.
