Katonah Teen Wins 3rd Annual Ron Jankowski 5K

The annual race in Briarcliff Manor is held in memory of a former village volunteer firefighter.

Katonah 17-year-old Liam Hackett placed first—beating out the next racer by almost two minutes—at today's Ron Jankowski Memorial 5K Run/Walk in Briarcliff Manor.

The third annual race is held in memory of a village firefighter who passed away in 2009 and benefits the Ron Jankowski "92 Engine" Memorial Fund, which offers seminars for other community firefighters throughout the region.
