Pace Women's Swimming/Diving Sets Records

Pleasantville's Jenny Palladino set a school record in the three-meter diving event.

PISCATAWAY, N.J.- The Pace swimming and diving teams had a record-setting showing at their season opening Rutgers Invitational. Jenny Palladino (Pleasantville, NY/Byram Hills) set the school record in the 3-meter diving event as she finished in third place with a score of 264.50.

Georgie Goulding (Wellington, New Zealand/Wellington) started the meet in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:31.88.Hannah Oleksak (Blandford, MA/Williston Northhampton)posted a time of 5:42.10 in the 500-yard freestyle, while finishing with a time of 2:27.77 in the 200-yard IM.

Kaitlyn Lynch (Vallejo, CA/Solano C.C.) came in 13th place in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.67, while finishing in 17th place in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:21.65. Alexis Chocianowski (Cambria Heights, NY/Mary Louis Academy) swam a time of 5:47.26 in the 500-yard freestyle, while recording a time of 26.65 in the 50-yard freestyle.

In the 400-yard medley relay, the quartet of Lynch, Oleksak, Goulding and Chocianowski combined to post a time of 4:19.95.

The Setters return to action on Saturday, October 27 for their home opening meet against Manhattan College at 2 p.m.
