Harlem Magic Masters battle Briarcliff Manor Rotary's "Dream Team" in entertaining game.

The Briarcliff Manor Rotary Club welcomed the Harlem Magic Masters basketball team to town to face a "dream team" of Rotarians in an entertaining night of hijinks and a basketball game to raise money for the organization's charitable endeavours.

The Briarcliff High School gymnasium was the setting and hundreds of spectators filled the bleachers and lined the sidelines cheering and laughing as the Magic Masters were led by veteran Tex Barnwell who didn't even wait for the completion of team introductions to taunt the announcer, the referee and his opponents.

The team put on an entertaining show that mixed comedy and basketball skill, with audience participation and left all who came with a smile on their face, while allowing the Rotary Club International to continue to fund efforts to end polio, donate to the Westchester Children's Hospital, D.A.R.E., Ossining Food Pantry, Briarcliff High School Community Service awards and other organizations and events.
