Pleasantvillians Sweep Horseshoe Tourney

The Lions Club's annual tournament helped raise funds for the Interfaith Food Pantry.

The Lions Club of Pleasantville took over Roselle Park on Saturday to host the fifth annual Horseshoe Tournament.

"We had great weather and a good time," said Rob Billman, the event's organizer. "Turnout could have been better, but with donations, food sales and entrance fees we came out ahead and will make a nice donation to the Pleasantville Emergency Interfaith Food Pantry."

This year, all of the tournament's winners hailed from Pleasantvile. Congratulations to:

First Place: Jim Flemming and Wayde Bendus

Second Place: David Post and Rich Sarfaty

Third Place: Doris Sharp and Richard Sharp
