Swimmers do well in Sectional Championship Meet

The combined team of Briarcliff/Pleasantville/Valhalla/Westlake took seventh out of 27 teams in the Section 1 girls swimming championships on Nov. 9 at Felix Festa Middle School in West Nyack, with a total of 125 points.

Ice cats start Practicing on the Ice

The Mount Pleasant Ice Cats, like every other Section 1 team, started ice-hockey practice this week.

Mount Pleasant will play its first game when it hosts Newburgh at 9 p.m. Dec. 3 at the Westchester Skating Academy in Elmsford.
