Pleasantville Lions' $50K Prize Up for Grabs Saturday

The annual hole-in-one tournament offers a $50,000 grand prize in its shoot-out competition.

Calling all amateur golfers!

The Pleasantville Lions Club, which raises funds for causes including the Interfaith Food Pantry, Guiding Eyes for the Blind and Hawthorne's Rosary Hill Home, is gearing up for its big fundraiser.

On Saturday, the Lions will be taking over Parkway Field from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for a Hole-in-One outing.

All amateur golf enthusiasts ages 14 and up are invited to sign up for the event—the cost is $10 for five balls and five raffle tickets or $20 for 12 balls and 12 raffle tickets.

Raffle prizes will be handed out during the day and cash prizes for golfers—$100 for closest to the pin and $500 for a hole-in-one in the preliminary round—are up for grabs along with the coveted $50,000 grand prize.
