Sessions Earns All-State: Daily Sports Digest, June 6, 2012

Section 1 champion Scott Sessions (157) of Pleasantville along with Section 1 teammates, Suffern's Ryan Miller (153) and Nanuet's Michael Smith (155), placed in the top 20 to earn all-state honors at the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Golf Championships at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course at Cornell University, according to Mike Dougherty's post on the LoHud Golf Blog.

As a team, Section 1 finished in third place.

BHS in Final Four

For the second year in a row, Briarcliff's baseball squad will return to the state Class B Final Four after making it to the title game last year.

The Bears (22-4) earned their second straight trip to the state semifinals by defeating Babylon 13-5 at East Hampton High School on Tuesday in the regional championship game as per Ian Cutler's story on MSG Varsity.

Little League


The deadline to register for the Briarcliff Little League summer program is this weekend and for more details, click on its website here.

Tonight's Schedule

Bus will play Legion at 5:45 p.m. at Ryder Park in the majors division according to the league's website.
