T-Bone to Make an Appearance At Elmsford Sports Authority Opening

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y.- T-Bone, the official mascot of Pace University Athletics will be making his first appearance of the fall 2013 semester at the grand opening of Sports Authority at 295 E. Main St. in Elmsford, NY this Saturday, August 10. Doors will open at 8:00 am with incentives for shoppers throughout the day along with celebrity appearances by former New York sports legends. The Pace Athletics marketing staff will be on location along with T-Bone, handing out schedules and promotional items throughout the morning. The first 400 people to visit the Pace Athletics booth will receive a 2013 Pace Football schedule magnet and the first 100 people will also receive Pace Athletics “wayfarer” sunglasses.

The marketing staff will be promoting the first on campus event of the year which is the DJ Henry Youth Football Clinic on August 25 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Pace Field of the Pleasantville campus. Youth football players ages 6-12 are invited to participate and will receive a season ticket pass, 2013 Pace Football addition t-shirt along with free food from Pace Athletics sponsors. Pace Football kicks off the 2013 season on the road against Alderson Broaddus in Philippi, West Virginia on Saturday September 7 at 1:00 pm.
