Rivertown Runners
 described Saturday's second annual race:

"The course is challenging, scenic and fun! The course is marked by black arrows on bright green backing. The race begins at the top of Beekman Ave heading west towards the river into Hudson Harbor entering the Riverwalk at Pierson Park and continuing along the river back to Hudson Harbor and into Ichabod’s Landing to return to the riverfront through GM lot past the Historic Lighthouse and into Kingsland Point Park. From the park, the course enters Philipse Manor and then into Sleepy Hollow Manor leading out into Phelps Hospital with an out and back down Rte 117 alongside the Rockefeller State Park Preserve. After returning from 117 there is a short loop in the New York Life complex exiting back towards the river through Kendal, Phelps and returning into the Manors. The final part of the course brings you out of Philipse Manor across Rte 9 up Pocantico Street and back to Beekman Ave. for the finish. Course time limit: 3-1/2 hrs (course closes at 1 pm)."
