Washington Named Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y.- Pace University freshman quarterback Antwan Washington (Belle Glade, FL/Glades Central) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week for this past Saturday’s performance against American International College.   

In the Setters’ home opener against the Yellow Jackets this past weekend, Washington completed 17-of-32 passes for 188 yards and two touchdowns. He also scored a rushing touchdown on a 4th-and-goal from the one-yard line in the second quarter. Washington also caught a deflected pass for a reception and gained eight receiving yards.

The Setters are back in action next on Saturday, September 28 when they head to Merrimack College for a 1:00 pm kickoff in North Andover, MA.
