Dempsey thanked members for their continued support of the league, officers of the league for their efforts, Director of Golf Rich Rizzo and Grounds Superintendent Ed Kaufman and their staffs, as well as Unique Affairs, where the group dined after play throughout the season.

Although initially open to IBM employees only, the league expanded its membership in the early 1990’s to include other golfers as well and draws members from Westchester, Connecticut and New Jersey. Long-time members of the league who still play include Vice President Special Events Sue Aldrich of Port Chester, who joined the league in 1970, and President Diane Dempsey, in 1972.
