Fordham Prep's Cameron Young, a Briarcliff Manor resident, shot a 2-under 70 to win the Catholic High Schools' state championship as per this report on LoHud.com.

Track & Field

Briarcliff's  took first place in Division 2 in the 3,200 with a time of 9:43.66 in the first day of the Section 1 state qualifier held at Arlington High School on May 31.

That qualifies Shine for the state championships.

Section 1 Class B champion Briarcliff will be playing in the regional semifinals today at SUNY New Paltz against Section 9 champ Spackenkill at 4 p.m. according to Vincent Mercogliano's post on the LoHud Baseball Blog.
