Ron Jankowski Father's Day 5K Run/Walk

Where/When: Law Memorial Park on Saturday, June 15 starting at 7 a.m. (registration)
Why go: This annual 5K is held in memory of former Briarcliff Manor firefighter Ron Jankowski. Proceeds from the 5K benefit the Ron Jankowski Memorial Fund, which gives back to firefighter education in the region. Click here for more information.

Pleasantville Swim Team Rubber Ducky Race

Where/When: Pleasantville Pool on Sunday, June 16, registration begings at 9 a.m.
Why go: Do you have the fastest duck in the lot? The second annual Pleasantville Swim Team Fundraiser will determine a winner when the race gets underway at 11:30 a.m. Prior to the race, the Swim Team will be offering a free clinic at the pool from 9 to 11 a.m.
Pricing: $5/duck or $20 for a family of five

Father's Day Yoga

Where/WhenBreaking Ground Dance Center on Sunday, June 16 at 9:30 a.m.
Why go: Start off Father's Day with a flowing vinyasa practice set to rock music. The session will help dad open his body, release tension and stimulate energy. Register by emailing karenyoungyoga@gmail.com.
Pricing: Free for dads and first-timers, $20 drop-in fee for everyone else

Father's Day at Captain Lawrence Brewery

Where/When: Captain Lawrence Brewing Company (444 Saw Mill River Rd. Elmsford) on Sunday, June 16 from 12 to 5 p.m.
Why go: Bring dad to the local brewery to take part in the new Pilot Batch program, introduced last year. The day will include beer tastings to help Captain Lawrence decide which beer to remake into a bigger batch. Donations will be accepted to support Hemlock Hill Farms, which recently saw its barn burned down. The 12 beers on tap this Sunday include Basil Haze, Begian IPA, Pride of Elmsford, Chocoholic Stout and Grapefruit Pail.
Pricing: Free (donations accepted for Hemlock Hill Farms)

Clearwater Festival

Where/When: Croton Point Park on Saturday, June 15 and Sunday, June 16, beginning at 9 a.m.
Why go: The annual festival includes seven "sustainably-powered" stages featuring live music, dance, story-telling and family activities and crafts. There is also a market, boat exhibits and rides, environmental education displays and more.
Pricing: $64/day or $96/weekend
