Abinanti Calls for Passage of Legislation to Ban Undetectable Guns

As the expiration of the federal “Undetectable Firearms Act” approaches, I applaud Senator Charles Schumer’s efforts to update and extend this important law. In New York, I have introduced legislation, A.7587, that specifically bans undetectable guns manufactured from 3-D printers.

Allowing firearms that are undetectable poses a serious threat of danger to the safety of all. We should be doing everything possible on the state and federal level to prohibit the possession, manufacture, and sale of these dangerous and undetectable guns.
