Local racers regrouped and recharged after the one-mile fun run and 5K race sponsored by the Community Scholarship Fund of Pleasantville Saturday morning with a hot breakfast at Pleasantville Presbyterian Church.
The annual breakfast helps raise funds for a group of teens and adults who participate in the Appalachia Service Project (ASP). During the trip to the Appalachia region of the country, the volunteers help repair and rebuild homes in the rural setting.
