A diverse group of about 30 musicians—ranging in age from 15 to 80—have dedicated their Monday nights to taking part in the band.
The group is the oldest fire department band in New York State and celebrated its 75th anniversary last year. The band hosts concerts throughout the year and accompanies fire department members during Pleasantville's annual and other area parades.
