"Grow Your Business With Email and Social Media Marketing" is the title of a workshop at the Briarcliff Manor Public Library on Thursday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. It will give companies and nonprofit organizations ideas for growing their organizations using email marketing and social media. David Fischer of Solutions for Growth LLC will discuss what it means to run a campaign and tactics for measuring success without spending a lot of time or money.

The Friends of the Mt. Pleasant Public Library are sponsoring a book sale at the Library on Friday, Oct. 15 at 9 a.m. There will be book bargains for children and adults including mysteries, poetry, biographies, history, fiction, and how-to books. The sale will also include CDs and DVDs. There will be a preview for members of the Friends organization (you may join at the door) on Thursday, Oct. 24, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Pleasantville Children's Center is holding a fundraiser Halloween Party for preschoolers on Friday, Oct. 25 at 5 p.m. Friends, family and siblings are welcome. Come in your costume for a fun night of food, crafts and magic. The cost is $15 per child; $35 for 3 or more children; children under 2 are free. Adult costumes are completely optional.

It's going to be 'Friday Night At the Movies' at the Briarcliff Manor Public Library, located at 1 Library Road on Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. Much Ado About Nothing (PG-13) will be played. Registration is recommended but all are welcome to attend.
