Pleasantville's Blood Drive; Orchestra Pops Concert; Halloween Parade

Board of Trustees Meeting

• Pleasantville's Board of Trustees will have a work session at 7 p.m. and a regular meeting at 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 28 at 80 Wheeler Avenue in Pleasantville.

• An all-day Blood Drive, sponsored by the Pleasantville High School and Ambulance Corps, will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Pleasantville High School on 60 Romer Avenue. Pleasantville merchants are providing gifts, coupons and raffle items for blood donors who participate. • Pleasantville High School's Orchestra Pops Concert will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 7:30 p.m. at the high school cafeteria.

• The Zoning Board of Appeals will meet on Thursday, Oct. 31 at 8 p.m. at 80 Wheeler Avenue in Pleasantville. Click here for the agenda.

• Bedford Road School's Halloween Parade in Pleasantville will be held on Thursday, Oct. 31 at 1:30 p.m. at the playground (weather permitting)

• It is recommended for children ages 2 1/2 and 5. The interactive story time uses picture books, songs, finger plays, action rhymes and other activities to encourage the enjoyment of books and language. It is being held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
