Winter Concerts, Toy Drive Highlight Festive Week in Pleasantville, Briarcliff

Winter Concerts

The Bedford Road School in the Pleasantville Union Free School District will hold its annual winter concert in the Pleasantville High School auditorium on Monday Dec. 9 at 7:30 p.m.

Meanwhile, the Briarcliff Manor Union Free School District’s grades 6 through 12 will have its winter choral dance concert Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 7:30 p.m.

Briarcliff Manor Toy Drive

The annual Briarcliff Manor PBA Toy Drive is now open and accepting new, unwrapped toys at the police department through Dec. 15. All donated toys will be delivered to the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at the Westchester Medical Center.

Play-Reading Group in Mount Pleasant

The Mount Pleasant Public Library in Pleasantville is inviting participants to take turns reading Oscar Wilde’s “An Ideal Husband” on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 1 p.m. New members are always welcomed.
