Where/When: Briarcliff Manor Public Library on Friday, Sept. 20 at 7 p.m.Why go: All are welcome view a new-to-DVD film at the library Friday evening. The Great Gatsby (PG-13) stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire and brings to life a literary classic.

ArcStages Fall Workshop Auditions
Where/When: Arc Stages on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 12 p.m.Why go: Teens and tweens (fifth through 12th grade) are invited to audition to take part in ArcStages' fall theatre workshops, which include lessons and tips from professional actors and directors. Farewell to Summer
Where/When: Captain Lawrence Brewing Company (444 Saw Mill River Rd. Elmsford) on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 7:30 p.m.Why go: Say goodbye to the summer season and welcome fall at the nearby brewery. There will be live music by Frankenstein's Baby, an open bar, snacks and outdoor games like bocce. Proceeds will benefit Student Advocacy. Purchase tickets here.

Ossining’s Bicentennial Harborfest
Where/When: 1 Harbor Square on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.Why go: Saturday is all about celebrating the Ossining waterfront. Check out ships and take a boat ride yourself, visit local vendors, enjoy food and live entertainment. The evening culminates with fireworks. Read more here.

Chappaqua Community Day
Where/When: Chappaqua Train Station on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.Why go: The Rotary Club of Chappaqua invites the community out to check out local vendors, mingle with locals and donate food to benefit the Westchester Food Bank on Saturday.

Bullyproof Seminar
Where/When: United Martial Arts Centers Briarcliff on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 12 to 2:30 p.m.Why go: According to UMAC Briarcliff, a large percentage of teenaged students experience bullying at school. Find out how your kids can combat bullying at this seminar. To register, call 945-7100.
