Briarcliff Family Fun Night
Where/When: Law Memorial Park on Friday, July 12, starting at 6 p.m.Why go: Pool events and field games galore for the whole family are on tap this Friday evening as part of a village tradition that goes back to 1963. Click here to get the details.

Pleasantville Music Festival
Where/When: Parkway Field on Saturday, July 13 from 12 to 8:30 p.m.Why go: The ninth annual all-day music affair features an array of established musicians and bands, local talent and non-musical performers. Click here for more details. Click here for ticket information.
Pricing: $40 adults; $15 seniors and students ages 12 to 22; children under 11 are free with an adult
Phelps Farmers Market
Where/When: Entrance of the Rockwood Hall area at Rockefeller State Park on Thursday, July 11 from 11 to 3 p.m. and continues Thursdays through November.
Why go: The Farmers Market at Phelps is back and at a new location. Returning vendors include favorites like True Food and Wright's Apple Farm, while new additions at Phelps span from Red Barn Bakery's organic baked goods to Black Forest Flammkuchen Co.'s thin crust pizzas and R&G Produce's seasonal fare. There will also be a number of rotating vendors this year, including Penny Lick Ice Cream's cart, Clean Ridge Soap Company and the Bronx Baking company, "famous for their bacon-wrapped pretzels."

A Bug's Life Screening
Where/When: Briarcliff Manor Public Library on Thursday, July 11 at 7 p.m.Why go: Families are invited to the library for a film in on the big screen. A Bug's Life is rated G. Bring your own snacks.

Camp Nowhere
Where/When: Jacob Burns Film Center on Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14 at 12 p.m.Why go: JBFC's Movies for Kids (and their Families) series continues with the 1994 PG-rated Camp Nowhere—a film about a group of kids who create their own summer camp.
Pricing: $11 adult nonmembers, $8 seniors & students and $6.50 children under 12
