Academy of Dance Arts

<p>Jennifer Pollock, founder and artistic director, started Academy of Dance Arts in 2000 as a place for excellence in dance education for ages two through adult. This new 5,000-square-foot facility is located at 17 Marble Ave., in the rear of the large, red brick building. A driveway to the right of the building takes you to the Academy's front door.</p> <p>The class schedule is packed with dozens of classes ranging from tiny toes and creative movement for the youngest tots to ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip/hop, lyrical, theatre dance and acrobatics for older children. A competitive dance company and a performance company are also offered. Scholarships are available to boys interested in participating in the Academy's programs.  </p> <p>Free parking is available in a parking lot on the side and rear of the building and there is metered parking on the street. Ask about its theme birthday parties.</p>
