To C. Anderson: Doesn't look like they needed any time to think about the reply I got. In effect,…Read More they told me my pair of $234.50 tickets are just this side of worthless, and my history of being a contributing patron means nothing.
II'm willing to bet that there are many more people, like me, who were told to hang onto their tickets. They will be in for a rude awakening when they go to the box office to try to exchange them.

Chuck, give them time, they still haven't figured out what they are doing yet. You must remember…Read More they are a bunch of audio engineers with no experience in the arena they are in now. But look, at least we will get to see the Sisters of Graymore! Don't use up all your first come first serve seats at this one.
Do you really think someone like Mary Foster who is the smartest person in Peekskill would make a bad decision? Of course not, just ask the brain trust on the Common Council and the BID.

To Gail Brenneis Fenty: I am holding almost $250 worth of Paramount tickets that I was instructed by…Read More the previous management to hold on to.
I contacted Kurt Heitmann, who is one of the principals of Red House Entertainment, to ask if they would give me credit for my tickets. this was his reply: "we can honor your tickets. You can come to any show we have that is not sold out and on a first come first serve basis grab a seat. There will be a $5.00 service fee per ticket. Hope that helps."
What that means to me is this: I can not exchange my premium, fourth row, on the aisle tickets at the Paramount box office for a future show's comparably priced seats of my choice. And I should just "show up" on the night of a show that is hopefully not sold-out, and exchange my premium, fourth row, on the aisle tickets, plus an additional $5.00 per ticket, for whatever seats are available. Seats that may very well not be together, seats that may possibly have an obscured view.
I am not happy about this. I was a contributing patron of the Paramount in the past, but don't think I will be in the future if this is the way they intend to treat their supporters.
