Alice Kenny is an award-winning writer and editor specializing in social and environmental issues. Her work has been published in The New York Times and numerous other newspapers and magazines. She has co-produced radio and television programs and taught at New York University.She was awarded the Melvin Mencher Reporting award for superior reporting, the Horgan Prize for critical science writing, the Metcalf Fellowship for Environmental Reporting and The Scripps Howard Institute on the Environment fellowship. She attended St. Louis University in Madrid, Spain, graduated magna cum laude from Fairfield University and graduated with honors from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
