Angela Gaul graduated from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University nearly ten years ago. Prior to joining the staff of the Journal News in 2003, her photographs appeared in the New York Times, the Miami Herald, on the Associated Press newswire. She is pleased to shoot for Patch.com and show readers the people and places they see all around them every day in a way they've possibly never seen them before.
She lives in New City with her husband Joel, their two cats, sweet dog, and six cameras. Although she's proud to shoot for all the Patch.com sites in Westchester as well as Rockland, she is particularly pleased to be a member of the team at New City Patch. She enjoys interacting with fellow Rocklanders in a virtual community that's an extension of town where we live.
She also enjoys reading, traveling, scrapbooking, and in her free time, she loves to take pictures. Yes, really! Her niece and nephew's young lives are fully documented from maternity portraits onward, and she and her husband spent our honeymoon on a nature photography trek through the Australian Outback. She also volunteers for Now I Lay Me To Sleep, which is a network of photographers who serve bereaved families through the gift of infant remembrance photography.
