Bio
Sarah, a graduate of Sleepy Hollow High School, has lived in Westchester County for more than 20 years. She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and psychology from New York University. Prior to working as editor of Pleasantville-Briarcliff Manor Patch, she was a contributor at Tarrytown-Sleepy Hollow Patch.

Sarah's work has covered a wide range of issues and has appeared in both print and online publications. She worked briefly in public relations before turning to community journalism in Westchester County a few years back.

Sarah is a lover of all things media, the web and volleyball. She has coached volleyball teams at the college and high school levels and is currently the Briarcliff High School JV volleyball coach.

Beliefs
At Patch, we promise always to report the facts as objectively as possible and otherwise adhere to the principles of good journalism. However, we also acknowledge that true impartiality is impossible because human beings have beliefs. I tend to think moderately. I am a registered Independent.

Religion
How religious would you consider yourself? (casual, observant, devout, non religious)
I was raised Roman Catholic, but give more weight to personal spirtuality than distinct religious affiliation.
