Pleasantville MS Assistant Principal to Retire
Gregg Fonde, currently Pleasantville High School's assistant principal, will replace Susan Weill.
Pleasantville High School's Gregg Fonde, who is currently the assistant principal, will be heading back to his middle school roots next year.
Pleasantville Middle School Assistant Principal Susan Weill will be retiring at the end of this year and Fonde asked to be considered for the position, according to the district.
"He had been a sixth grade teacher there and has always been, at heart, a middle school person," said district spokesperson Julie Schwartz.
Said Fonde in a statement, "I am happy and thrilled to return to the middle school, a place where I have so many fond memories as a 6th grade teacher from 2000-2006. I look forward to working with Mrs. Ossowski and forging new professional relationships with the entire faculty and staff. The middle school is a fantastic school, and I wish to thank Mrs. Susan Weill for her advice and help over the years, and wish her a prosperous retirement."
