Pleasantville High School Principal Dawn Bartz addressed the community and Board of Education following its unanimous decision to accept her resignation.

A crowd of hundreds that spilled out into the library's hallway and computer lab listened as the Board of Education accepted a resignation agreement for the principal of two years; and many spoke out in defense of Bartz, who said she would be willing to accept a second chance in the position.
The board later voted not to revisit its original decision.
