Pleasantville is prepping for Memorial Day.
Memorial Day Weekend is more than just the official kickoff for summer. It is a wonderful opportunity to remember those that serve and have served our country, especially those who have sacrificed their lives for our freedoms.
Pleasantville holds its annual ceremony Monday, and that starts at 10 a.m. at the Bedford Road School.
The parade then makes its way down Bedford Road to Memorial Plaza, where a second ceremony is held at the World War II monument.
