From the SPCA of Westchester:
"I bet the first thing you want to know is how I got my name. Actually I am not sure. I know that the SPCA volunteer who names the cats that arrive without credentials tried many names before deciding on "YoYo." I think she picked this name because sometimes I like company and sometimes I don't (at least that is what she was told by staff people who cared for me when I first arrived at the shelter!). Actually, I do like people. I do like company. What I do not like is being in a cage! I had a home but I got lost and was found at the Peekskill train station. The Animal Control Officer knew I had a home once because I was wearing a flea collar. Anyway I was enjoying myself until I got scooped up and placed in a cage at the SPCA. I would really like to get out of here and be adopted into a family that has a safe place for me to enjoy some fresh air (any screened in porches out there?)."
