Photos: Hollywood Crew Takes Over Route 117

The road will be closed through 7 a.m. Friday between Routes 448 and 9.

Lights, cameras and vintage cars have been spotted in the Mount Pleasant/Briarcliff Manor area all this week as the Coen brothers' latest film—Inside Llewyn Davis— in the neighborhood.

According to the International Movie Database (IMDB), the film is set in New York during the 1960s and stars Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan and Justin Timberlake.

The drama, due out in 2013, has also shot scenes in New York City. A crew was also spotted at the Briarcliff Manor  campus earlier this week.

Route 117 between Route 448 in Mount Pleasant and Route 9 in Sleepy Hollow has been shut down intermittently over the past few days. It was open most of Thursday, but the latest signs say the stretch will be closed through 7 a.m. on Friday.

Mount Pleasant Police are currently manning the intersection by Route 448.

Earlier this afternoon, a self-described "second crew" set up camp at the North County Trailway parking lot just off Route 117, near the ramps for Route 9A. The lot contained several of the vintage cars being used in the film.
