New Dance Center Debuts in Pleasantville

Memorial Plaza's Addie-Tude Performing Arts Center features salsa, hip-hop and more for kids and adults.

Downtown Pleasantville is home to a new dance studio.

Addie-Tude Performing Arts Center officially opened Saturday evening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and dance demonstrations at an open house.

The new business is owned by Addie Diaz, a choreographer and winner of ArtsWestchester's 2011 "Arts Alive Project" grant.

The studio offers hip-hop and salsa classes for kids; as well as zumba, belly dancing, African dancing and salsa for adults.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone interested in learning from the best. Addie is a world-class dancer with a long resume of success in the fields of dancing and teaching.
