Pleasantville's Plaza Video to Close Today
The longtime video rental store is being shuttered at the end of the day.
Pleasantville movie and game rental store Plaza Video will close for good at 7 p.m. this evening.
The lights were dim in the Marble Avenue shop, which has downsized in recent years, Wednesday afternoon as merchandise and fixing were displayed for a final day of sale.
According to an announcement the store posted on Patch today, DVDs, games, store fixtures, greeting cards and balloons are all for sale.
Plenty of DVDs still line the store's several shelves—more than 10,000, according to the announcement.
