Let's call this a modern spin on community planning—a digital drawing board where all ideas are on the table.

In this forum, we will present a vacant space or property and ask you to tell us what you think would be the best use. Forget what zone it's in, ignore setback regulations, dump lot coverage rules and all the other zoning jargon that puts most people to sleep. What would you like to see there? What would be the best use for the community?

This space—71 Wheeler Ave.—is on one of Pleasantville's main downtown strips, directly across the street from .

Carolyn Papanicolaou , renaming the shop .

Now, Papanicolaou and Precieuse Papers has moved down the street to join .

So, tell us—in an ideal world, what would you like to see happen to this recently-vacated space? A new eatery? A retail shop? Or something else entirely?

Briarcliff Manor has a great hardware store and it's only five minutes from the Village of Pleasantville. It's name is Tools For Better Living located at 1181Pleasantville Road, Briarcliff Manor, NY. They are open 7 days a week and are a full service hardware store with knowledgeable, courteous personnel.
