Pleasantville Mayor: Stay Home

DPW crews in the village are working on cleanup.

At approximately 4:30 p.m. this afternoon, Pleasantville Mayor Scherer sent out the following memo to the community:

Snow continues to fall and is expected to end within a couple of hours. Wind is expected to pick up tonight.

The heavy snow is pulling down lots of tree limbs, especially those that have not dropped their leaves. We have significant tree damage everywhere, and a section of Washington Avenue is blocked by downed trees.
