Readers' Choice: Best Local St. Patrick's Day Venues

Where will you be celebrating St. Patrick's Day this year?

This coming Saturday is St. Patrick's Day and if you aren't planning to head down to New York City for the big parade, we want to know the best places to celebrate locally in Pleasantville and Briarcliff Manor.

Green beer, Irish soda bread or perfectly poured Guiness are just some of the things that the Irish (and others) seek on St. Patrick's Day. The day is meant to celebrate Saint Patrick, the most commonly recognized of the patron saints of Ireland and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland. It is considered the largest Saint's day celebration in the world.

In Briarcliff Manor, The Briar's Restaurant will be offering up a corned beef and cabbage special on Saturday, as well as live music from 6 to 10 p.m. by Ryan Express.
