Hawthorne Man Charged with DWI in Mount Pleasant

Police said the 55-year-old was speeding and didn't signal for a lane change on the Sprain.

New York State Police stopped a vehicle on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Mount Pleasant Saturday night after it was reportedly seen speeding.

According to a press release, troopers also noticed the vehicle changing lanes without a signal and pulled it over.

The driver, a 55-year-old Hawthorne man, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and issued traffic tickets.

He was processed and is due in Mount Pleasant Court on October 17.
