A Pleasantville motorist suffered an eye injury when a car traveling in the opposite direction on Broadway drifted across the center line, sideswiped him and fled, police report.

The injured driver was headed south near Otsego Road around 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Oct. 3. That’s when a northbound car, described only as a dark sedan, crossed into the southbound lane and hit the man’s Honda Accord, police said. The impact shattered the driver’s side mirror, hurling glass and other debris into the car.
