NYSP: Two Drug Arrests on Sprain Brook Parkway

The following is from New York State Police. It does not indicate convictions.

Two men were arrested early Sunday morning for allegedly driving with drugs on the Sprain Brook Parkway, New York Police reported.

Officers stopped a vehicle driving 79 mph in a 55 mph speed zone and driving over hazard markings at approximately 4 a.m., according to a press release.

The driver, a 28-year-old Ossining man, was arrested and charged with Driving While Impaired by Drugs and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree.

A passenger, a 38-year-old Hawthorne resident, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.

Both men were given appearance tickets for December 3 in Yonkers Court.
