Pleasantville Police: Larceny Arrest; Trespassing at Pool

The following information is from the police department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Here's a look at some of the recent incidents investigated by the Pleasantville Police Department:

Shoplifting
Police responded to a Marble Avenue business on September 9 and reported arresting a 29-year-old Peekskill resident at the scene. He is charged with two counts of petit larceny, police said.


Beer Bottles at Pool
A Department of Public Works employee reported to police at 8:15 a.m. on September 4 that it appeared people had trespassed at the pool overnight.

Police reported finding beer bottles on the deck, as well as cans in both pools.

Hit and Run Leads to Arrest
Mount Pleasant Police reported a hit-and-run accident near the Pleasantville border on Marble Avenue September 5.

Police responded to the road just before midnight and reported arresting a driver. The 22-year-old Queens man was charged driving with a suspended license.

Pleasantville Police said he was not charged (yet) with any crimes related to the accident.
