Emergency Sewer Repairs Underway in Pleasantville
The work along Bedford Road near Wheeler Avenue is ongoing and may cause traffic delays.
From Pleasantville Village Administrator Patricia Dwyer:
"Please be advised that emergency sewer repair work is underway on Bedford Road (between Wheeler Avenue and Marble Avenue) in an effort to repair a sanitary sewer main. Weather permitting, this work will be ongoing for several days. We are making every effort to mitigate the traffic impacts that will be associated with this work, but given the scope and location of the work, there will be impacts. Therefore, motorists and pedestrians are advised to use Manville Road (Route 117) as a parallel route to their destination."
