Pleasantville Recreation Dept. Finds New Home

The former Ambulance Corps building on Marble Avenue has been transformed into a community space.

After months of eager anticipation, the Village of Pleasantville publically opened its new Recreation Center at 48 Marble Ave. on Saturday.

Mayor Peter Scherer, Deputy Mayor Mindy Berard, Village Trustee Colleen Griffin Wagner and Westchester County Legislator Michael Smith helped Recreation Superintedent Linda Bellofatto and her staff cut the building's ribbon.

The revamped space, adjacent to Parkway Field, includes offices, a large community room and a kitchen, which cooking appliances for recreation classes.
