Briarcliff Recognized as 'Standout' National School District
ZipRealty noted Westchester as a great place for families to settle and recognized Briarcliff's exceptional schools.
A recent study by real estate brokerage ZipRealty gave Briarcliff Manor Union Free School District some special recognition.
In its top 10 "Best Places for Families to Live" rankings, Westchester County came in at number six based on " both the availability of highly ranked schools (based on the ZipRealty School Score) and affordability of local real estate (based on the median price per square foot within the school district)."
Within the county, ZipRealty chose Briarcliff Manor as the "Standout School District" based on "the performance of each school district (including elementary, middle and high schools) on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest; ratings are based on test score data as well as student/teacher ratios."
ZipRealty awarded Briarcliff Manor a rating of 9.9 out of 10 and said the median price per square foot within the district's boundaries is $250.
Other aspects of the village were also mentioned in the rankings: "Take a drive along the Hudson River or enjoy some shopping on Briarcliff Manor’s charming, tree-lined streets," ZipRealty said.
