Briarcliff PTA Family Game Night

Where/When: on Friday, Jan. 27 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Why go: Enjoy games, food, prizes, raffles and more with the whole family for the 8th annual PTA-sponsored family game night in Briarcliff Manor. There will be an extra surprise for all who wear orange and blue.

CSF of Pleasantville's Catch Up with Friends Night

Where/When: on Thursday, Jan. 26 at 7:30 p.m.

Why go: The Community Scholarship Fund of Pleasantville is hosting fundraiser with a "Catch Up with Friends"theme. Entry includes snacks and one complimentary drink. Music begins at 10 p.m. with the Drew Bordeaux Group.

Where/When:  on Friday, Jan. 27 at 7:30 p.m.

Why go: Join fellow high school students (grades 9-12) for an evening of game shows including jeopardy. You can participate as a contestant or enjoy the games as an audience member. Prizes and refreshments. TAB events are organized by high school students for high school students.

Where/When:  (630 Bedford Rd., Pocantico Hills) on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 2 p.m.

Why go: This special workshop at Stone Barns will teach participants the health benefits of culinary herbs grown right on the farm. Bonnie Roger, a local herbalist will lead the class of herbal preparations.

Where/When:  on Sunday, Jan. 29 at 2 p.m.

Why go: Almost Maine is a romantic comedy written by John Caiani and directed by Larry Schneider. The M&M Productions Acting Company will bring the piece, set in Maine during winter, to life.
