Drew Brown Joins Pace's Athletic Department

New director of athletic development, joins the Division II Pleasantville-based university.

has recently welcomed a new face to its athletic department.

According to an announcement from Director of Athletics Mark Brown, Mohegan Lake resident Drew Brown has been named director of athletic development, effective August 13.

"He will oversee all activities related to the promotion and advancement of funding initiatives within the Department of Athletics and Recreation, with an emphasis on individual major gift fundraising," a statement from the school says.

Brown was formerly director of alumni relations at Mercy College.

"I’m looking forward to joining the team and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to help build an even stronger future for the student-athletes at Pace,” Brown said.

Pace University Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations Jennifer Bernstein said of Brown, “ for the Pleasantville campus has articulated many exciting changes, including major improvements to our athletics facilities. Drew brings great experience in fundraising, alumni relations and sports communications—he will be a wonderful asset to the Setter community!”
